GETTING THERE
AIRPORT
The Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is the main airport serving the city and is located about 15–20 minutes from the Salt Palace. It’s a major hub with direct flights from most major U.S. cities, making travel simple whether you’re coming from across the country or internationally.
TRANSPORTATION
Public Transit (UTA TRAX): Light rail runs throughout the city and connects downtown to the airport and surrounding areas. See schedules and maps here.
Rideshare: Uber and Lyft are widely available and are a quick way to get to and from the venue.
Walking: Many hotels, restaurants, and coffee spots are within walking distance of the Salt Palace.
PARKING
The Salt Palace offers two underground parking garages, open 24/7. Parking is convenient and directly connected to the venue, making it easy. Pricing and availability may vary, so we recommend arriving early during peak hours. See location and pricing here.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect warm, sunny days in the low to mid 80s with cooler evenings. Downtown is clean, walkable, and surrounded by mountain views, with great food and coffee just steps from the venue. And when you’re ready to get outside, world-class hiking, climbing, and canyon access in Big and Little Cottonwood, Parley’s, and American Fork are all just a short drive away.
